Not all VPS hosting providers offer the same features. Some give you a server and that’s it. Our platform includes several features that make a real difference when you’re running production infrastructure.
Private networking
Every VPS on our platform can connect to a private network within the same data center. This is a real isolated network, not shared with the public internet. It’s useful when you have multiple virtual servers that need to talk to each other (web server to database, app server to cache) without exposing that traffic to the internet.
Private networking works within a region and can also connect to dedicated servers in the same data center. Bandwidth on the private network is high (10G/40G infrastructure) and there’s no extra charge for private network traffic.
Snapshots
A snapshot, or what we simply call a backup, is a point-in-time copy of your VPS disk. You can take one before making changes (installing software, updating configs, deploying new code) and restore to it if something goes wrong. You can also use one to clone new servers: set up a virtual server exactly the way you want it, back it up, and deploy new instances from that copy.
People call these different things. Snapshot, backup, restore point, point-in-time copy: on our platform they are all the same product, so it does not matter which word you use when you talk to us. What does vary is timing. Some backups run on a schedule, and some you trigger yourself the moment you need one, right before a risky change. Every backup plan includes both. If you are not on a backup plan, there is no snapshot or restore point waiting for you when something goes wrong.
No oversubscription
When you deploy a Linux VPS or Windows VPS with us, you get the vCPUs and RAM you’re paying for. We don’t oversubscribe our hypervisor nodes, which means your server performance doesn’t degrade because other tenants are using theirs. This is a meaningful difference from providers who pack too many VPS onto each host to maximize profit.
Six data centers
Deploy at Las Vegas, Dallas, Ashburn (Virginia), Santa Clara, Amsterdam, or Singapore. Each location has independent power, network, and hardware. You can run VPS hosting in one region or spread across multiple for high availability.
SSD storage with Ceph
All VPS storage is SSD, backed by Ceph for redundancy. Your data is replicated across many drives, so a single disk failure doesn’t cause data loss.
